Dr. Georg Friedrich Henning, Chemical Works Walldorf GmbH located in the Southwest of Germany, near Heidelberg, has been active in the pharmaceutical sector since more than 115 years.
In the course of decades we have focussed on manufacturing and the worldwide distribution of Chloraethyl "Dr. Henning", a well-known cooling spray, for local anaesthesia.
Our company is certified according ISO 13485.

In the past, our cooling spray had been registered as a medicinal product by BfArM (formerly BGA).
Since March 2000 we distribute our cooling spray under the legal status <medical device> , since the physical mode of action led to a new classification due to European and German regulations.
